Pair of houses. c1840. Rendered and colourwashed clay lump on
tarred brick plinth. Roof of black-glazed pantiles. 2 storeys.
4-window range, each of the 2 houses disposed symmetrically.
Each has a central doorway, that to No.23 of 4 flush panels,
the other C20. Plain timber doorcases with hoods over plain
entablatures. Each house with one 6/6 unhorned sash right and
left of door to ground floor, and two 3/6 horned sashes to
first floor. Gabled roof. Central ridge stack and external
gable-end stacks.
