Pair of estate cottages, now one. c1840. Red brick and
sandstone ashlar. Welsh slate roof, twin gabled to north and
hipped to south. Massive central rendered stack. Coped gables
with moulded kneelers and square finials. Two storeys. Plain
first floor band. Two bay north elevation has two stone cross
windows to each floor set in deep chamfered surrounds. Diamond
lights. Side elevations have segment headed windows and
doorways. The stone for the front is reputed to have come from
the old parish church, demolished c1840.
