12.7.67 The Vicarage
GV II

Vicarage. Early and mid-C19. Rubble limestone and gritstone ashlar. Stone slate
roof and stone coped gables with plain kneelers. Stone gable end stacks. Two
storeys. South elevation with raised quoins to left and remains of quoins visible
on right. Left part has a glazing bar sash in stone surround and a doorway with
stone surround and hoodmould. Half glazed door and semi-circular fanlight. Two
glazing bar sashes above in stone surrounds. To the right a large two storey canted
bay with coped parapet and stone band at base of parapet. The ground floor has a
plain sash flanked by two narrow sashes. Three glazing bar sashes above,the outer
ones narrow. The canted bay is an addition.
