Farmhouse. Probably late C16/early C17 with early C18 additions; later
alterations. Wet-dashed rubble on plinth. Graduated slate roofs. Symmetrical;
2 storeys with attic, 3 bays. Wing and outshut to rear, lean-to against north
return. Central full-height gabled porch with internal steps up to panelled
inner door 2 ins. thick with original ironwork. Large ground-floor sash with
narrower sash above to either side of porch which has fixed window to 1st floor
and attic; glazing bars to all windows. Stone end chimneys. Interior: Front
room right has blocked fireplace with segmental arch; decorative plaster panel
above (vine-scrolls), full-height panelled cupboard, with semicircular head and
flanking fluted pilasters, to right. Moulded ceiling beam.
