Former barn and 2 adjoining cottages, mid C17. Oak framing with
plaster panels and brick nogging; clay tile roof. 1 storey plus attic
with 3 windows per storey in all. Sandstone plinth; small framing to
front and rear with 1 intermediate rail, pair of damaged crucks in
right gable end of barn; brick nogging to barn, plaster panels to
cottages; diagonal braces beneath eaves. Boarded doors; 3 oak-framed
gabled dormers; small-pane wood casements, those to No. 32 and top
right casement to No. 33 are leaded. Half-hip to right gable. 2
plinthed brick chimneys with engaged diagonal flues, probably later
C19 for Rowland Egerton Warburton.
Interior: No.32 could not be inspected. No.33 has chamfered oak
beams and a gadrooned oak bressumer to former inglenook.
