House. Early C19. Stone rubble, part plastered, slate roof. U-plan. Main
range of 2 storeys and 7 bays. 1st floor sill band and top cornice. No roof.
Some windows retain sashes with horns; central 1st floor window has architrave,
frieze and consoled cornice. Central entrance has glazed tetrastyle portico
with capitals, frieze and pediments; glazed doors. Inner entrance has overlight
and side lights. This part of house is derelict (1987) no floors, stair
remains, as do some stacks. Rear has large stair window with tripartite sash
With glazing bars. Small gabled wing below. Lower service range to north has
return range to west. 1st floor sill bands; slate roofs. Windows are sashed
with glazing bars; some top-hung casements. Re-entrant hipped porch. Return
range has lean-to outshut. Cross-axial stacks.
