Sunshelter, now shop and amusement arcade. 1924 by Sir John Burnet.
Rendered with pantiled roof. One storey with projecting hipped pavillions
flanking curved arcade of Doric columns in antis, 11 bays in all, with
prieze and projecting modillion eaves cornice. All 11 bays with original
metal-traceried rectangular fanlights but only left 4 bays with original
metal French doors, the others later C20 replacements side pavillions with
boarded doors in doorways with cornices, and with metal framed side lights.
A match, but not identical, to the western quadrant, built with the bandstand
(now boating pond - see separate items). See Bussons, Book of Ramsgate 111,
