C16 or earlier timber framed house. 2 storeys, 4 windows, irregular. High pitched
tiled roof with tall compound ridge stack. Exposed square rimming, with plaster
filling, on Ist floor. Brick ground floor of various ages. Small modern casements
mostly with diamond leaded panes. 2 gabled rear wings, the left one probably C17
but with C19 Gothic window inserted. Ground floor right return exposed framing,
brick filling, stone and brick foundation. Inside much exposed timber and inglenook
with stone jambs.
