A Grade II Listed Building in Cliffe, Medway

Longford House

The HE dating is 1600. The building could be older than the exterior suggests, initially being a Kentish hall house with a single-aisle entrance located at the south end of the front elevation. Internally it is largely timber-framed three-bay construction, although the south-facing and rear exterior elevations are modern brick. The middle bay and fireplace were altered during the Tudor period. I am intending to have the frame dendro dated.
