C15 barn. Of 6 bays aligned east to west, timber-framed with aisles to
north and south. Black weatherboarded with evidence for original vertical
board cladding. Hipped roof clad in corrugated iron, due to fire damage
in recent years, main frame timbers are charred on their surfaces. Midstrey
absent. Main and aisle posts heavily jowled with shores forming tie-beam
arch-braces. Roof side-purlins braced in pitch. Scarfs of circa 1440
with edge halvings and either bird's-mouthed or sallied bridlings.
