GV II

House, converted to 3 cottages. C15/early C16, converted in C19. Timber
framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red plain tiles, stacks of gault brick.
Hall range facing N, with C19 central stack, and 2 wings extending forwards,
each with a C19 internal stack at the junction, forming a half-H plan. C20
single-storey extension with lean-to felt roof to right. One storey with
attics. Ground floor, 3 C19 and one C20 casement (in no. 47). First floor, 2
C19 casements and 2 more in gabled dormers. Central C19 boarded door. C20
half-glazed door in right return of left wing (no. 43). C20 casement in left
return of right wing (no. 47). First floor contained in gables of crosswings
and with lodged floor to hall on wallplates.
