Uploader's Comments

Although described as 19th century, this house is much older with medieval stonework (steps and windowframe) in the cellar dating between 1250 and 1300. The house was rebuilt in Tudor times using wrecked timbers, some of which are still visible, and rebuilt again in 1776 when the Georgian brick facade was added. The house was at one time an inn called The Old Mariners.
