An early C19 plastered brick house with rusticated quoins. Circa 1840. It
is set at right angles to the street with the main front facing south. 2 storeys.
3 window range on the south front and 1 window range on the west front, 3-light
Venetian style windows on the 1st storey. The ground storey has 2 projecting
window surrounds with pilasters and cornices, 1 has a double-hung sash with
margin glazing bars and 1 now has a doorway. The centre part breaks forward
slightly, rusticated on the ground storey, with pillars in antis and cornice.
The west front has a C20 shop window. Roof slate with a wide overhanging eaves
on shaped brackets. Included for group value.

All the listed buildings from No 24 to No 56A on the east side
form a group with No 37 to No 89 (with Nos 57, 61, 61A) on the west side.
