C18, late C19. A 2-storeyed block of 4 bays, with a long front set back from the
roadway, with a C19 forward extension from the second bay. Thatched roof to the old
part, hipped at the north end, with eyebrows above the first-floor windows (cills at
eaves level); slate roof above the later block, hipped at its junction with the old but
gabled at the front. Red brick walling; mixed English bond to the old, Monk bond to
the newer part. Casements. Plain doors, with open gabled canopy to The Close.
