One of a group of two houses. C18. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone. Stone slate on roof pitch facing High Street, red tiles
at rear. Stacks cream coloured brick. 'T'-shaped plan. Two
storeys and attic lit by two 9-pane segmental-headed windows.
Cellar. Three-windowed facade with two 12-pane sashes to left-hand
bay. Tripartite sash to first floor of right-hand bay, 3-light bow
window with sashes to ground floor. Five stone steps up to central
flush 6-panel door with fanlight, set back within round-headed
panelled reveal. Two boot scrapers with wrought-iron decoration on
top step. Blind window above doorway. Sills of first floor
windows continued as a narrow band across the facade. Wider band
below. Pilasters at right and left-hand corners. Gable-end
stacks. Flat coping at gable ends. Spear-headed railing runs
across width of facade. Interior not inspected.
