General purpose barn and outbuilding. Early-mid C18. Random
rubble limestone; stone slate roof. Eight-bay combination
building, south facing. Two large barn doorways on south side with
plank doors and timber lintels. Two gabled eaves-mounted dormers
with 2-light shuttered openings. Pedestrian plank door below left
dormer with brass sundial over. Large raking buttress to west end;
shuttered loft opening to east gable end. Interior: 8-bay collar
and tie-beam truss roof; 3 rows of purlins. Forms part of group
with Sydenhams Farmhouse (q.v.).
