Two Gazebos, at the
Cottage and Court Garden
Cottage
GV II
Two gazebos. Probably C18. Limestone rubble, stone slate roofs. Square build-
ings set immediately behind the wall bounding the street; each is with pyramidal
roof to e ball finial, and with single door set in. That to The Cottage also
has a square planked access opening on the street side about 1 m from pavement
level. These were presumably originally part of the garden detail to the Court
House (qv), and are about 30 m apart, aligned to the east front of the Court
House.
