5/31 Kitts Green Farmhouse

II


Detached farmhouse. Late C18/early C19, enlarged later in C19.
Painted brick-faced rubblestone, concrete tile roof, 3 brick
stacks. Single range, 2 storeys. Originally 3 symmetrical bays
enlarged by one bay to the right. 3 triple sashes, 4/8/4-pane
with segmental brick voussoirs and stone keystone. Right hand bay
has canted bay window on each floor. Ground floor has door
centrally placed in original block, also with segmental voussoirs
and stone keystone, and with plain fanlight and door of 6 fielded
panels.
