Bridge. 1800 - 1805. By Thomas Daniell for Sir Charles Cockerell.
Ashlar limestone with brick vaulting, cast iron trellis work.
Facade curves in towards 3-bay bridge over stream. 2 rows of 4
octagonal columns with square bases and capitals supporting bridge,
flanked by 2 rows of similar engaged columns. Stone bench and
stepping stones under centre of bridge. Stone parapet with cast-
iron trellis work panels based on semi-circle. Pair of cast iron
model Brahmin bulls symmetrically placed towards centre of parapet.
Lotus flower type finials on piers of parapet to either side.
