SU 2199 LECHLADE BURFORD STREET (West side)

10/140 Nos 6, 7 and 8 (formerly listens as Premises occupied by S. Gearing)

Three adjoining houses, Nos 6 and 7 being a pair. Late C18. Coursed rubble stone, with large quoins to Nos 6 and 7, stone slate roof, hipped tile roof to No 8. Brick end stacks, and lateral brick stack to No 8. Single front range with rear extensions, Nos 6 and 7 of 2 storeys and attic, No 8 of 2 storeys. Nos 6 and 7 each have one large early C19 triple sash on each floor of 4/12/4 panes with wooden lintels on first floor, concrete lintels on ground floor. Doors together in centre, bolection moulded with 3 panels to No 6, 4 to No 7, and plain fanlights. Large gabled dormer to each, with 6-pane sash to No 6, twin wooden casement to No 7. No 8 has 6-pane margin sash on each floor with stone lintels, door of 4 flush panels to left.
