Formerly pair of houses, now house. C18; remodelled early C20;
modernised internally late C20. Limestone ashlar with stone slate
roof. Two room plan to each cottage; 2-storeys with attic; 2-
storey back wing. Front has one of the two 4-centred arched
doorways remaining; 3-light mullioned window with recessed chamfer
and hood mouldings at each end of elevation; 2-light formerly
between doorways. Three 2-light windows in small gables above. At
each end a chimney stack, corbelled out at high level, each with
paired diagonal shafts and moulded caps. Buttresses added at north
end. Back: C18 chimney stack and a wing much rebuilt late C20,
incorporating some C18 2-light windows.
