Former corn mill, now 2 houses. Early-mid C18; mid C20
alterations. Random rubble limestone; rubble chimneys; stone
slate roof. Two-storey with attic. Main mill block now forms No
2; wing at north end forming No 1. Front: fenestration mostly
C20 mullioned casements, some original casements probably
repositioned. Central C20 doorway to No 2 with flat porch hood
flanked by 4-light casements with hoodmoulds; large relieving arch
below right casement. Row of five 2-light upper floor casements.
Similar casements to No 1 to right including gabled roof dormer.
Two ridge-mounted chimneys. Rear: gable of wing to left; outshut
with catslide to right. Mullioned fenestration generally as to
front. Interior not inspected but extensively altered upon
conversion to houses. Stands at important position at end of
village street.
