Barn, now a workshop. C16. Timberframed and weatherboarded on
red brick sill wall. Gabled old red tile roof. 4-bay unaisled
barn facing E. Present door in 2nd bay from S. Heavy jowled bay
posts and long curved braces to heavy cambered tie beams. Heavy
stud wallframe with rails tennoned in line. Clasped purlin roof
with one purlin and straight wind braces. A number of heavy
flat-laid rafters remain. Angled queen-struts with strainer
plate between have been added below the collar in each truss.
Straight-tension braces in corners to sill plate. Lean-to at
rear (W) and extension to S not of special interest.
