SO 32 NW LONGTOWN CP -

Farmhouse. C17 extended during C18 or early C19, C20 alterations.
Sandstone rubble with Welsh slate roof. Rectangular plan aligned north/
south, facing east with later addition to south, south gable-end stack to
earlier house and south gable-end stack to later addition. Two storeys
with higher roof pitch to earlier section. East front: main house to right
with two 2-light C20 windows and single light at mezzanine level lighting
stair, later addition to left with two 2-light casement windows and one 2-
light C20 window on ground floor to left of lean-to porch with inner ledged
door. To the rear and to the north gable-end of the earlier house are
traces of 2- and 3-light diamond mullioned windows with wooden frames.
Interior of earlier house retains plank-and-muntin panelled partitions
on lower floor and a stone winder staircase against stack.
