Circa 1830-40, a 3 storey pair of red brick tunnel back houses, part of an
irregular terrace Nos 31 to 40. One bay each with central passage entrance
flanked by doorways. Gable end slate roof with buff brick eaves cornice probably
a late C19 alteration. Revealed sash window with stucco sills and flat rubbed
brick arches. Round arched entrances with rubbed brick voussoirs containing
moulded doorcases with corniced doorheads and lunette fanlights (modern doors).
Passage entrance has unglazed radial iron bar fanlight to arch above panelled
door.
