Includes Nos. 1 and 2 Church Road. Public house and 2
houses. Early C19. Roughcast with stone dressings, slate
roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Cornice and quoins. Windows have
architraves; ground floor windows have casements friezes and
consoled cornices, 1st floor windows are sashed with glazing
bars, central blind window. Gabled porch has 4-centred arch
to entrance, return sashed windows, 4-panel door. Left
return has 2 gable-end stacks, 2 bays to rear. Nos. 1 and 2
Church Road are of stone, one bay to each
house. Windows have wedge lintels, No. 1 has horizontally
sliding sashes with glazing bars, No. 2 C20 casements. No.
1 has entrance with 4-panel door, No. 2 has C20 porch.
Diamond panel inscribed "H/1859", probably not contemporary.
