In the family vault within this church are deposited the remains of Lucy Knightley Esq. eldest son of Valentine and Elizabeth Knightley who represented in several parliaments the town and county of Northampton. He married Catherine youngest daughter of Sr James Dashwood Bar't of Kirtlington Park in the county of Oxford and departed this life the XXVIII of January MDCCXCI aged L years S.P. Valentine second son died VII July MDCCXCVI unmarried. Charles youngest son rector of Preston Capes and vicar of Fawsley LL.B died the XXVIII of June MDCCLXXVII aged XXXII years, He married Elizabeth only daughter of Henry Boulton of Uppingham Esq. in the county of Rutland and left issue three sons and two daughters Charles, Valentine and Henry, Elizabeth and Sophia. Sir John Bart third son of the said Valentine and Elizabeth the present possessor of Fawsley from fraternal affection has caused this monument to be erected to their memories MDCCCV
