2/76 Clapper Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. C17 or earlier, built in at least 2 stages. Timber framed. Right
section rendered, left section weatherboarded. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys
and attic. Gable end jetty to left section. Roof of short left section
hipped to left, with much lower ridge than right section. Roof of right
section steeply pitched, gabled to left, hipped with gablet to right.
Multiple brick stack in front slope of roof towards left end of right
section. Small gabled dormer to right section. Irregular fenestration of
5 small wooden casements; one 3-light to left section, one 2-light under
stack, one 4-light and two 3-light. Half-glazed door between second and
third windows from right. Low single-storey weatherboarded addition with
plain-tile roof, to right gable end. Interior not inspected.
