House. C17 - early C18 origins with later alterations. Brick, colour-
washed. Pantile roof painted with pitch. Plan: 3 rooms with lobby entry
and stairs to left end; continuous rear outshut and later outshut to right
end. Gable end to street. 2 low storeys, 2 windows. Plain board door to
left under segmental brick arch. To right: 3-light and 2-light sliding
sashes with glazing bars beneath segmental arches. Single 12-pane sliding
sash to first floor with lintel at eaves level. Stepped eaves. Raised
gables with C19 tile coping. Axial stack to left, end stack to right. Left
gable end, facing street, has 12-pane sliding sash to ground floor beneath
segmental arch, and another to first floor beneath timber lintel. Interior:
room to right contains heavy ceiling beams and exposed joists.
