No 44: Late C18 brick front on building of circa 1600. 2 storeys, 2 windows.
High pitched, tiled roof. 1 st floor windows 3-light casements. Ground
floor window a taller, 3-light casement. Replaced door. Rear elevation of
narrow gable, weatherboarded.
No 46: Early C19 house built around core of circa 1600. 3 storeys,
3 windows. Red brick in irregular bond of from one to 3 headers between
single stretchers. Slate roof of medium pitch. Blank central windows
to upper floors. 2nd floor windows replaced, 2-light casements. 1st and
ground floor windows replaced sashes in flush, moulded frames (except window
on ground floor right, which is a wide, curved bow of 10 x 4 panes).
Door with pediment shaped hood on brackets. Inside some heavy timbers
exposed and a flint-walled cellar.
Nos 24 to 46 (even) and Nos 5O to 54 (even) form a group.
