Mid C18. Formerly 2 cottages, each with separate hipped, tiled roof of
moderate pitch. Red brick with brick cornice. Right section 2 storeys,
3 windows on 1st floor, centre window blocked and plastered. Gauged,
shallow segmental, brick arches to Yorkshire sash windows. Small
window inserted at right of door, not much later. Cornice hood on curved
brackets to door. Left section 2 storeys, one window. 1st floor window
with wood lintel, ground floor with gauged, brick arch, both sashes
with glazing bars. Sun Life Assurance plaque on 1st floor of right
section.
Earlier, small, 2-storey, 2-window building at rear on to which house has
been built, has had, modern windows inserted.
