C17, roof raised in C18. S wing modern. Originally a 1½ storey,2 bay
house with central chimney, stair on N end entrance probably on S. Early
C18 raised to 2 full storeys with steep gabled roof and chimney rebuilt.
Lean-to outshut on S. Roof thatched in living memory, now red pantiles.
Exterior rendered and colourwashed. Modern wooden casements. The interior
has exposed jo led posts in SE corner and centres of S and N walls, the
latter with mortice for brace. Old wall plate exposed in walls. Irregular
bond C18 red brick fireplace uncovered. Outshut on S replaced by 1½ storey
S wing c.1955. An interesting 2 bay house with structural features
exposed internally. Picturesque.
