SO 61 NE MITCHELDEAN THE CROSS

Shop and house; first quarter C19; rendered stone, slate roof.
2 rooms long, 2-storey with attics. 2 windows on Millend, none on
return to Hawkers Hill: rounded corner at road junction. Late
C19 shop front on corner, with plate-glass windows, to right in
Millend one 4-pane wide sash window with shutters, with late C20
door beyond, and small sash window. First floor two 4-pane wide
sash windows, with 2-light casement window to dormer with lean-to
roof above. Roof hipped on corner, with lead hips. Stone
chimney stack against rear facade.
Internally a spiral timber stair. Listed principally for group
value with Millend properties, (q.v.).
