Chest tomb. Richard Morris, died 1796. Signed by T Millnare of Hay [on Wye].
Ashlar. Bold corner balusters decorated with crossed sprigs of wheat,
inscription panel has fluted border with paterae in corners, ends have low
relief Classical lamps and swags of husks; moulded cornice, bevelled top.
Inscription: "To the memory of/ Richard Morris Gent/ late of the Priory in
this Parish/ who died 4th Day of April 1796/ Aged 84 years". This is a good
example of stone masonry and enhances the setting of the church; it contributes
to the group value of the other memorials in the churchyard.
