Two barns. C17 and early C18 with later alterations. Timber-frame, weather-
boarded on rubble plinth, and rubble, stone slate roof. L-plan, east/west limb
C17, north/south early C18. East/west barn: 5 framed bays, central threshing
floor. Framing: 3 square panels high to wall-plate, originally with woven
infill; intermediate trusses: 2 raking struts with collar; gables: 5 queen
struts to collar with V-struts in apex; ridge and trenched purlins.
North/south barn: 4 roof bays, threshing floor south of centre, 2 storeys
of ventilation slits; trusses: 2 raking struts.
