6/71 Bridge House

GV II


House. C17 refaced early C19. Timber-framed mainly with painted brick
infill, brick refacing to east front, tiled roof. Former L-plan house facing
east with further additions to rear (west) and to north. Entrance to left of
centre in east front, south gable end stack and further lateral stack partly
enclosed to rear. Two storeys; east front, three windows with segmental
heads and 2-light glazing bar casement windows, left of centre doorway with
gabled canopy supported on brackets, moulded architrave and part-glazed door.
Framing revealed at rear is fairly complete originally four panels from sill
to wall-plate, V-struts in gable.
