Former Sargents House

A Grade II Listed Building in Ledbury, County of Herefordshire

The Sergents House (Sargent) and The Cottage House

Uploader's Comments

The Sergents House is the yellow, three storey three bedroomed house with a cellar. The house was renovated as part of a large project to rebuild the old Court in the Magistrate's court. There were cells outside the court, the outlines have been preserved by means of dark bricks outside the court building.
The house is fundamentally stone, with brick and has an internal wooden frame, which indicates that it might have previously consisted of a wooden building with stone base, the wood would have been replaced with bricks at a later date.
