C15/16/17. Timber frame partly faced in roughcast, plaster panels. South
elevation faced in C18 red brick with sashes with glazing bars. Tile and
slate roof with gable ends. Two storeys and attic. End cross-wing. Casement
windows and old wood mullion-transom window on west. Central stack. Mid
C17 staircase, C17 panelling, and good early C17 overmantel with arched
bays and grotesque caryatids. RCHM volume II, page 84, plate 65.
