SU 42 NE HURSLEY PITT

5/3 Swallows Rest

GV II

Semi-detached cottages, now single dwelling. Late C18. Bordered cob and
thatched roof. Each cottage 2 bays, with outshot on end, 1½ storeys.
2-light leaded casement to inner bay, C20 glazed or planked door to outer
bay and outshot. Above each bay early C19 2-light cast-iron casement in
brickwork, in eyebrow dormer. Roof hipped and swept down each end with
ridge piece and large central stack.
