Service building. c1500, with C20 restoration. Brick walls, with diaper patterns
in the east gable, blue and yellow triangular patterns in the chimney, stone plinth
and quoins to the chimney some stone window frames, with hoodmoulds. Tile roof.
Rectangular two-storeyed block. There are plain openings with (restored) oak
casements, and stone windows of Perpendicular style, of one and two lights on the
north wall. Prominent tapered stack attached to the north wall, with diagonal
flue Along the main part of the south side there is a lower eaves, and two
gabled dormers. Ancient Monument.
