11/15 Rectory Cottages

GV II

Pair of cottages. C19. Flint with brick dressings, thatched roof. U-shaped with
forward projecting wings either end of central part. 1½ storey, 4 bay building and
in front of end bays, 2 bay deep wings. Gable ends of wings have C20 corbelled
3-light bay windows with rendered band at wallplate level and 2-light segmental
headed casement with bargeboards to thatch. Doors to inner corner of wings, to
left with C20 flat-roofed brick porch in front, to right planked door in segmental
opening. Central 2-light segmental headed casement with similar blank openings
each side, above which are eyebrow dormers with 2-light casements. Small ridge
stacks each end of central part and stack on outerside of left wing.
