GV II

Mill house. Mid C19. Scantling timber-frame with plaster infill on brick,
roof of bands of fishscale and plain tiles, brick stack. Set back from road,
1½ storey,T -plan with top of T facing road and lean-to down one side of stem.
Offset brick plinth all round. Top of T front 2 bay with pent-roofed bay
windows. On gable end pent-roofed bay window with 3-light transomed window and
3-light window over, outshot to rear with plank door. Lean-to rear wing has
2-light casement, over gabled dormer with 2-light casement and beside stack with
square base and 2 shafts joined at head. All casements are cast-iron with
lozenge-glazing.
