House. Early to mid C18, altered C20. Timber frame, plastered. Red brick
end walls. Black glazed pantiled and plaintiled roofs. 3 bay front range with
end stacks and a 2 bay service wing to rear to form a T on plan. 2 storeys, 1
storey and attic to rear. Original central entrance replaced by a window,
transomed 3-light part opening architraved casements, boxed eaves. Brick and
walls are Flemish bond with flared headers, moulded kneelers to coped gable
end parapets, external stacks with triple offsets, oversailing caps, inserted
casements on right end. Service wing has a C20 panelled door and doorcase on
left return, C20 casements and 2 gabled dormers. Rear gable end external
stack with offsets, tapering shaft, flanking pantiled oven outshuts, exposed
plates and purlins. Interior: good C18 framing is partially exposed, ogee
stop chamfered cross axial binding beams, through tension bracing, moulded
jowled posts, chamfered joists in service wing.
