House. Probably c.1700, extended early C19 with later additions and alterations. Painted brick (English garden wall bond), plain tile roofs with purplish-brown brick ridge stacks.
L-shaped in plan. Two storeys; three-window front; three-light late C19 casements with cambered heads and raised keystones to first floor, canted bay windows to ground; half-glazed door under plain pediment between second and third windows from left; moulded eaves cornice. Long two-storeyed addition at right angles to rear on left; three windows again with cambered heads and raised keystones; dentil eaves cornice. Also a short range parallel with main range to front.
Interior: left-hand front room has spine and cross beams with straight-cut chamfer stops, the latter beam being partly supported by an early C19 cast-iron cylindrical pillar. Massive single purlin roof.
