Early C19 front to older building. Higher frontage than No 50.
3 storeys. 3 windows bays (blocked central window on 2nd floor),
northernmost window bay projecting slightly'forward. Stuccoed; capped
parapet. Band above ground floor at south end. Sash windows in reveals
with flat arches over; glazing bars intact; sills below windows. 2nd
floor windows lower in height than those of 1st floor. Ground floors
of Nos 51 and 51A occupied by C20 plate-glass shop fronts.
