Early C20 building. One storey and attic. One window. Two dormers. Red brick. Steeply pitched hipped tiled roof with studio light on north east side. Sir Henry Royce of Rolls-Royce (1863-1933) used this studio from 1917 to his death in 1933 and made many of his inventions there.
A bronze plaque with his profile on the south wall, which was unveiled on the 23 September 1979, records his association with the building.
