House. Late C17. Brick; plain tile turnerized roof; brick
corner stacks to right front.
3 storeys, attic and cellar; 3-window range: to right, C19,
6/6 sash in broad beaded case under, central blocked opening
and to left, C19 cross window with casement, all under
segmental arches; storeyband; 2 similar casements and, to
right, brick blocked opening. Central entrance: C20
half-glazed door and overlight with glazing bars; storeyband.
Right returned side: returned storeybands; tier of cross
windows. Rear: tier of windows; plastered wing to rear with 3
blocked openings to 1st floor, and storeyband over.
INTERIOR: C18 winder staircase with turned balusters and
moulded string and rail. Attic: exposed timber-framed closed
truss. 2nd floor: half-glazed panelled door. 1st floor:
2-panel door; moulded and decorated plaster ceiling; bolection
moulded fireplace; wall cupboards. Ground floor: 2, 6-panel
doors; plank door. Cellar: blocked doorway with ashlar jambs;
plank door; brick and stone-lined. Unoccupied for at least 30
years at time of survey.
