Joseph (Joe) Wilson, born 29 November 1841, was a mid-19th century Newcastle-born concert hall singer who performed his own songs written about everyday life on Tyneside. He died of tuberculosis on 14 February 1875, and is buried in Jesmond Cemetery, Newcastle upon Tyne
