Farmhouse. Early C17 with later addition and C20 alterations.
Coursed rubble with flush rusticated dressed stones quoins and
stone dressings, gabled stone slate roof with 2 stone stacks and 1
south end brick stack. L-shaped plan with early range to left.
South-west front with 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows to right and
single storey and attic to projecting early range to left. Windows
to right are 2 and 3-light C20 mullions with hoodmoulds and small
pane casements, that to attic under gable; 3-light C20 cross-
mullions to early range. Lean-to porch in angle with stone slate
roof and plank door. North wall to core range has C17 wooden
architrave to doorway.
Interior. Large inglenook on east wall in early range; circular
newel staircase in angle between wings, and original butt-purlin,
collar beam roof structure.
