Milepost. Mid C19. Cast iron, painted white, with raised black lettering.
Triangular with stop below upper inscription. Inscribed: "SHEPSHED PARISH
REMPSTONE 8 MILES, ASHBY-DE-LA-ZOUCH 8 MILES". On stop is a small oval plaque
inscribed: "WOOTTON BROS., IRON WORKS, COALVILLE".
